Hickory Ash - Broomfield

This restaurant offers an incredible dining experience in Broomfield, comparable to those found in downtown Denver. I appreciate that they source their liquor from local providers, including beer, bourbon, and whiskey. The food is outstanding, and the service is excellent. I started with the wedge salad topped with a unique but delicious green goddess dressing, followed by the steak tartare, which was tender and refreshing with citrus notes. Honestly, I would have been satisfied with just those two dishes. However, I also tried the 4oz tenderloin cooked medium-rare, and it was perfectly prepared and seasoned. The sides were Brussels sprouts and creamed spinach, which didn’t quite meet my expectations; they were the least impressive part of the meal. On the other hand, someone in my party ordered the fries, and they were fantastic! It’s such a treat to have a restaurant of this caliber in the suburbs. I do wonder how easy it will be to dine here during shows at the nearby Event Center, as parking might be a challenge.

My second visit to H&A for Father’s Day brunch was fantastic! I really enjoyed the signature cocktails, especially the **** Mary, Hickory Bird, and Rosé Thyme. I had the French toast bread pudding, my husband indulged in the Benedict poutine, and my daughter loved the chicken and waffle Benedict. Anyone who appreciates good food will recognize the quality ingredients, care, and skill that go into these exquisite dishes. And I have to mention the staff—they were wonderful! Our server was attentive without being intrusive. Thank you for another lovely experience!

I ordered the pork chop, which was grilled to perfection and served on a bed of buttermilk grits, complemented by maple and bacon-glazed Brussels sprouts and apricot compote. Every flavor in the dish came together beautifully, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Russ savored his impeccably cooked lamb, which is a classic offering of Colorado cuisine. The patio offers a stunning view, and the service was outstanding. I couldn't be more impressed or pleased with this new restaurant, especially since it's only its second day of operation! Being within walking distance from our home makes it our new favorite spot.

AH--MAZING! First, I'll just say that this place is an amazing find for Broomfield, CO. Our waiter, Sam, had more knowledge about the wine, the brews, and the food than any waiter I've EVER encountered. He was passionate about the food, described it in a way that made you want to try EVERYTHING and was super helpful. The food was to die for. Not only was it art, it was incredible. This is a hiddle gem for sure. Probably a good idea to get a reservation on any day of the week, especially when there is an event at the 1st Bank Center. I will be back, over, and over, and over again! I think I love you!

We have lived in Arista for over 5 years and have been waiting for the Taylor restaurant ever since. It was worth the wait! The decor, food, staff, atmosphere.... all top notch. Congratulations and warm welcome to our neighborhood
