Bob Evans - Brooksville

Upon entering the restaurant, I felt genuinely welcomed by several team members, which was a wonderful experience! The food service is consistently excellent, and I appreciated that the Manager on Duty took the time to check on all the tables to ensure that everyone was satisfied. Overall, a great atmosphere!

Thank you for opening on Thanksgiving. I wouldn't have thanked you without you. I hope you had a great one too! Everything was delicious! And also pretty good portions!

I recently ordered the chopped steak meal with potatoes, broccoli, a side salad, and of course, the dessert that comes with it. I’ve enjoyed this dessert many times before, and for a while, the only option was a cookie, which I assume has since changed. The dessert I received this time was incredibly disappointing. It was basically just a bowl of whipped cream with a measly amount of finely chopped peanut butter cups. The peanut butter filling was only about half an inch thick and didn’t taste anything like it used to. As for the chopped steak, it resembled one of those frozen hamburger patties you buy at the grocery store, with such scarce onions and mushrooms that I would have needed a magnifying glass to find them. I've given this place many chances over the years, but I'm starting to doubt my decision to return. I wish I had taken pictures, but unfortunately, I didn’t since I had posted them for other friends.

We have breakfast on Sunday. There were several couples waiting outside. We went in and the restaurant had several tables open. The people before us said party of 4 (but there were only two there) and the hostess said where the others are, and it was answered that they are up there. So they sat right away. Then she asked us and we had a party of 2. It'll wait 30 minutes. So you tell me they won't sit at a table or stand because there are only 2 people and let you wait for a two-person table? No thanks that we went and went to another restaurant where customers are important!! That's a bad customer service.

We eat at Bob Evans once a week. They have really good food. However, yesterday I was joking with the server and she was laughing and talking to us. After taking our order, a manager comes out and says I offended the server. The manager walks away and I'm thinking we will get another server. Taylor, the same server we had comes back. She didn't seem upset at all. Seems like the manager was the one upset. We went to pay and Erica never smiled and didn't say thank you. We will ask for Vicki next time. She is great.
