H & K Restaurant & Alleycat - Brooks

This was the worst meal I have ever had. The ginger beef was chewy, the spring rolls had too much dough, and the almond chicken was mainly batter with no almond or chicken taste. The noodles in the chow mein were undercooked and the squid was mushy. The total order came to $100, but after returning it we were only refunded $40. Instead of an apology for the terrible food, we were told to never order from there again. That won't be a problem! This restaurant desperately needs to be renovated.

The Chinese food here is absolutely amazing and always leaves you wanting more! The ginger beef is fantastic and I highly recommend getting takeout from this place. I am never disappointed!

There was a bit of a language barrier, but in the end they served a fantastic meal. It was an enjoyable adventure to find this hidden gem. Not everything in Brooks is bad; this restaurant is a hidden treasure!
