Contribuiți la feedbackI passed this place so many times and never noticed it, but Iâm glad I finally did. Food was great, service was good, and I really enjoyed the live music. I will definitely be returning in the near future.
Place is brand new needs a makeover, but eating is amazing and the drinks are good.
I had a great time celebrating my wifeâs birthday and the owner came out and introduced himself and asked us if we needed anything. I will definitely go back there.
My boyfriend and I were looking for a Caribbean restaurant in the park slope area and went online to search and The Slope Lounge restaurant came up. We both never heard of it but decided to take a chance and Iâm so glad we did . First impression was the ambulance and decor . It was such a chill vibe and perfect for a date night. It wasnât too busy so it was not loud at all , which is great so my boyfriend and I could speak and hear each other . My boyfriend loved the open kitchen . Itâs something Iâve never seen before and that stood out to both of us as it made us feel like our food was made fresh. Speaking of food, it was amazing . I had the chicken waffles and I think itâs one of the top chicken waffles Iâve tried in Brooklyn . Overall , excellent restaurant . Weâll definitely come back
First and foremost, I love supporting black owned businesses. And I wish you great success. I chose this restaurant for that very reason. I just wished my experience was more delightful. Upon entering, we were greeted by a gentleman with a very warm welcome. He was very courteous and personable until we were seated. However, once being seated.... The first waitress seemed to be overwhelmed very unfriendly. She attempted to take our drink orders but had to step away as she was attending to a bigger party right across from us. She stated, âIâm preoccupied with this large party right here but I will send someone to take your order..â After waiting minutes for a now a waitress, who was more attentive than the first, we were now told itâs a brunch event being held all night. We made reservations and it never once said anything about a special brunch night. More importantly, we were coming for to have a birthday dinner. But nevertheless, we stayed and made the best of it. With not many dinner options available on the brunch menu, of us had to settle for the oxtail. person substituted the fried coconut rice for peas and the reason was Due to TSL running out of the fried rice thatâs paired with the oxtail on the menu. So one meal was then changed to something different instead, yet we were charged for oxtail anyway. This process took an additional minutes. It was a beautiful establishment but not such a beautiful experience. We all felt disregarded just because we were a small table of people there was a party of about people across from us. We watched them be attended to consistently while we were continuously overlooked.
