Skinflints - Brooklyn

The decor is tasteful and playful. The ambience was very cozy with reminisce of valentine's day past. Low music, great date night with ample romantic lighting. Service was quick, attentive, and respectful. Food was perfectly cooked and nice presentation. Must try the potatoes skins with cheese with perfectly abundant bacon. Never been here before, but it definitely grabbed my attention and possibly my loyalty. Cheers and thanks for being a great establishment.

I have been going to Skinflints for years, and this is the first time I have ever had an issue with this place. I ordered a drink there was almost no alcohol in it and I asked for lite on the ice, but I was told that "the bartender is very finicky and that also doesn 't mean you are getting more alcohol! "I was appalled, to say the least, and 4 of our party wanted medium rare burgers, and every one of them came back well done and hard as a rock. The fries had no seasoning or even salt on them, and the food was cold. Was not happy this time around and I hope that the next time will be better.

Casual pub in Bay Ridge serving classic pub food and beer.. Its pretty good, I had Steak au poive which was very good, slightly sweet and nothing that's a Frenchman would recognize but I enjoyed it all the same. I also had a French onion soup which was decent and a couple of draft beers. I'd definitely go back for a burger or other comfort food.
