I was told about this place a few years ago, but somehow brushed it. vegan asian in brooklyn, was there, did that boy I was wrong. we start with ambiente, cool, dimly lit, jazzy even on the afternoon. the garden is delightful, it is a refreshing break from the norm. perfect for friends, couples and/or single males. for beginners I had skorallion pancakes. with Teriyaki sauce and pineapple bits, it was exceptional. then I had the general tso lunch special with spring roll and salat. it was also delicious. service was friendly, attentive and thorough. as mentioned the previous review. Why didn't I come here earlier, but now that you know, come here more often!

Who leaves 5 star reviews, not the asiates! eating is a western take Asian food, a poor, best. extreme bland. the friend had the noodle, no warning what the filet was, but it wasn't good. I had the rice noodles that for 14 dollar, plus an expectation for tip, was nothing more than shop-bought instant rice noodle, vegetables, tofu and a very watered down shop-bought miso paste. this is not a restaurant, but probably a place they go for drinks and chat with friends, as eating obviously is not made by a cook. if they are looking for good vegan Asian food, there are several large vegetarian restaurants in chinatown that actually serve Asian cuisine!

Clean, consistent, delicious food. they always host my special requirements and modifications, so I can create the perfect Veggie shell.
