Contribuiți la feedbackTrendy spot for Peruvian food in Brooklyn. I would highly recommend having a reservation here, especially for the weekends. The food was decent and definitely unique. We came here with a group of four and shared all the dishes.We started off with cocktails, 2 different ceviches, and beef heart skewers. Definitely some of the most unique ceviche flavors I have had both were incredibly refreshing. We then split the lomo saltado the most highly anticipated dish of the night. Unfortunately 3/4 of us found it incredibly salty and the steak to fry ratio was completely off considering the price (we probably each had 2 morsels of beef). We finished with the olive oil cake which was okay, nothing to write home about. Overall cool spot to check out but will probably not be returning any time soon.
Delicious food and excellent drinks. I'm just so sad they got rid of the quinoa salad with bananas. It was an amazing dish.
I loved food here, good service, drinks could be better… but overall it’s a nice restaurant.
1st time trying Peruvian food and it was a stellar dining experience. Everything from the decor, dining utensils, food, and atmosphere inside. A high-end eating establishment that’s worth the price of enjoyment. I really enjoyed the food .. so much detail in the taste and the manner in which the food was prepared. It was fresh, hot, flavorful, unique, and DELICIOUS! “BiG” compliments to their Chefs
After securing a same day Llama Inn reservation, four of us excitedly walked into a vibrant atmosphere on a Saturday night and were seated in a row at a window counter. Unfortunately, I left largely disappointed. The beef heart appetizer was the first and ultimately my favorite item of the entire meal. Flavorful and tender, one order two skewers is perfect for two people to share. The Tuna and Scallop ceviche appetizers were decent, although much of the juices went to waste I would encourage the restaurant to present small bowls to the patrons ordering ceviche, so that the broth does not have to be awkwardly enjoyed directly from the communal plate.What brought the entire experience down was the Wagyu Saltado, their signature dish. First, this was extremely salty. When I say this, I do not mean bringing out the flavor salty I mean that it is overwhelmingly salty to the point where it is difficult to enjoy. Also, the amount of meat per person was barely more than the amount of meat per person from the previously mentioned skewers. Yes, the dish was served with lots of filler: rice, fries, guac, and unlimited scallion pancakes the latter of which was tasty , but to give so little meat and charge $160 !!! is absolutely absurd and a pure ripoff.We ordered the olive oil cake with banana ice cream for desert the ice cream itself was great, but the olive oil cake also was outrageously salty.I have no complaints about the service and staff, but the combination of exorbitant prices and underwhelming quality simply cannot justify a higher rating.
