La Tombola - Brooklyn

I had a date night at this restaurant before heading to the Freestyle Concert over Labor Day weekend. It was a busy Saturday, and it was obvious they were understaffed and had some management issues. After being seated, we waited a long time before anyone came to greet us. When we finally called a manager over to address our concern, he signaled for a server to attend to our table. Unfortunately, it was clear she wasn't eager to help us; her first question was simply, "What would you like to eat?" We placed our order, but our entrée and appetizer arrived at the same time. Instead of sending the food back, we decided to keep it and eat when we were ready. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, though the food itself was decent. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I really wanted to love this restaurant; it has a lot of potential. I’m giving it 2 stars solely for the ambiance. However, be prepared to wait about 15 minutes for a waitress to greet you and take your order, and then expect another half hour for your drinks to arrive. This has been my experience every time I’ve visited, even when the place wasn’t busy. Unfortunately, the drinks aren't great either. The Froze is basically an icy served in a fancy cup, and good luck with the cocktails. As for the food, it’s a mixed bag. My party and I have tried most items on the menu during our visits. The only dishes that are decent are the pizza and the sliders. The fried chicken wings are tiny, seem boiled, and are completely lacking in seasoning. The shrimp and grits came with raw peppers and onions, which speaks volumes.

This place is a total mess. I paid $30 for two 12oz beers, and the refrigerator on the roof is absolutely filthy. The staff seem completely lost, and the owners come across as dishonest.

Great drinks, cool vibe and there’s even a rooftop. Definitely recommend

I went to have lunch with my family. We order our drinks and food,she came with our drinks and I noticed she had a cut on her finger and had blood. First of all you should never served anyone…PLEASE clean yourself up and put a band-Aid have to be super careful. We ordered pizza,fish tacos, burger and tuna tower, nothing tasted fresh, I felt like the food was two days old..It seem like didn’t care to put effort into fresh food.Very unprofessional they should do much better ! It’s my second time there did not like it at all. Beautiful place but food was HORRIBLE!!
