So, I finally got around to checking out Halsey Ale House in Brooklyn, and I gotta say, my experience was a bit of a mixed bag.I was hoping for some delicious bites to go along with my drinks, but the food was rather mediocre. It felt like they were trying to cover all the bases, but nothing really stood out. So, if you're expecting a culinary adventure, you might want to lower your expectations a bit.Now, here comes the weird part the smell. As soon as I walked in, I couldn't help but notice a strange smell in the air. It's hard to put my finger on it, but it definitely wasn't the most pleasant thing to experience while trying to enjoy a meal and drinks. It's a shame because it really put a damper on the overall atmosphere.The silver lining here is their great happy hour. Seriously, if you're looking for a good deal on drinks, this is where Halsey Ale House shines. The prices during happy hour are super wallet friendly, and that's definitely a big plus.
