Fishermans Cove - Brooklyn

I used to be a regular at Fisherman Cove for years, but after my last visit, I am officially done with this restaurant. Shortly after eating my meal, I experienced severe food poisoning. To make matters worse, they tried to give me a dish that had been sitting out for who knows how long. I had to request a fresh order, but even after that, I ended up with chills, fever, nausea, stomach pain, and a running stomach. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Fisherman Cove.

This restaurant is great for cool people with delicious food. I have never had any issues with the service in the past 15 years. I would give the food a rating of 5 out of 5.

Fisherman’s Cove has fallen off. I have been buying from this restaurant for years and Ive finally reached a place where I’m done with them.So I enter the restaurant trying get a side of a rice and peas for my child with no meat . I stand on the line and when I finally get to the woman at the register the woman tells me I can’t be sold rice and peas alone . She insists that I just buy an entire meal. I said “ no I don’t need the meat I just wanted a side of rice and peas. She tells me I don’t have enough rice and peas to sell on the side to you . I can’t sell it this way . Feeling confused and embarrassed I was furious !! I was clearly looking at the food in the display class and there’s a huge pan full of rice . Why is she saying I can’t get a side of rice ? I thought businesses wanted money ? I thought businesses go above and beyond to please their CUSTOMERS!!!! I said to the woman this makes no sense because if I want to buy a side of anything I shouldn’t be told I can’t because you want me to buy a meal . This is absolutely ridiculous. I was so mad at her and the service . The woman didn’t care or show any interest in my needs to want rice . She just called the next person .I have stuck with FC for years but after this rude encounter. I am done supporting them. The jerk chicken has been subpar , the food has fallen off with all the dry food being presented and being sold . The portions and the quality is inconsistent and lacks luster !I’d recommend this store getting new management or changing it’s menu because it’s not good anymore

Best of the best I eat there many Times a week they know my specialty how I like my food go check them out they work together like family they treat you like family as well and very well manneredWheelchair accessibility: The place is level with the front door so you will not have any issue

I have had burnt food, over cooked food, dried out food... horrible food and I still wanted to support because they are the only carribean food in the area .
