The potato salad was average and the cornbread was pretty dry. I will say, the burnt end beanswere a hit! I wish I got two orders. Regarding price, be prepared to spend at least $30 a person, without drinks. I got abrisket, corn bread, and beans. Incredibly high priced. For drinks, we got the bourbon lemonade. If you plan to get alcohol, Isuggest this beverage! Overall, a decent bbq spot with good ambiance and drinks. I would definitely go back.
Way overpriced for just decent food. They def don't use regular mayo in their potato salad nor Coleslaw, brisket is fatty and only has flavor in the crispy top layer, cornbread was decent, but crumbly, greens were vinegary, beans were veryrich. Basically, everything was decent for the 1st couple of bites, because I haven't had BBQ in over a year, but then Irealized this wasn't it at all.
It?s hard to get good bbq when you?re no longer in the South. This was excellent, considering. Brisket was the star and the wings were dry, to be honest, but the sauces made everything that much better. I plan on coming back soon. We had to leave earlybut their venue was doing a predominantly woman comedy show, which definitely adds to the appeal of coming back in the future.
Enjoyed my experience here with a friend. I recommend the beef brisket compared to the pork, but their pulled pork is still outstanding. (Wanna try the ribs next time. sides were ok, pretty classic. The broccoli could?ve have more flavor and thecornbread could be more moist. ????However, if u always need some sweets to end your meal, I highly recommend their doublechocolate cookie.. housebaked and it was great!
Awesome barbecue place, I had a great time there and the staff was really nice. I would absolutely recommend getting the brisket (omg! and the beans, crazy good. The ribs are not their strongest meal, and I prefer my corn bread to be more on the « crumbly » side but that’s just personal taste.Good beer selection.
