Festac Grill - Brooklyn

I have been to this restaurant before and have noticed that each time I go, they always give me the old menu with prices that have been increased by 3 to 4 dollars per dish. This was disappointing, and I don't plan on going back. The dish I did end up ordering this time was flavorless, which was surprising. It seems like the new decor and digital upgrades may have caused them to compromise on taste. Additionally, they only accept cash, which is inconvenient. Overall, I was not impressed with my experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed dining at this restaurant with my two friends. The food exceeded our expectations with its quality, and the environment was pleasant without any insects in sight. The service was excellent, and we appreciated the wheelchair accessibility. Additionally, the prices were budget-friendly. The nearby parking was convenient, though it was not free. Overall, a great dining experience.

The food at this restaurant shows a lot of potential! However, I don't believe the ponmo is worth $18. On the other hand, the $4 meat dishes typically consist of a large piece of meat in a small amount of stew, which seems reasonable. I have only tried their stews and plantains, but have not had the opportunity to sample their soups.

Poor customer service with no Intergeiry, We ordered the green ayamashe sauce, they gave us the normal red ofada stew thinking we don’t know the difference. When we complained they insist it’s ayamashe sauce and wasn’t apologetic about not having integrity. I be correct Naija boy don’t play me like that man.

This by far is my FAVORITE place to get Egusi soup with mixed meat. Their food taste amazingly fresh and flavorful. My always go to to get is the Egusi soup with cow foot and shaki. The shaki is so tender and the cow foot is easy to bite off the bone. I have gotten food from here multiple times and they NEVER disappoint. I really cannot speak more highly of their food. It's delicious, authentic and worth every bite. Also you can't go wrong when the price is right.
