Dokebi And Grill - Brooklyn

This dish is ideal for when I feel a cold coming on and need to fight it off with a spicy and delicious stew. Yum!

We ordered Kalbitang 갈비탕, Yookgaejang 육개장, Mandoo 만두 and Side Kirby Cucumber Kimchee at this restaurant. The side dishes they provided tasted awful and some even appeared to be spoiled. The soups were mediocre, not terrible but also not great. The cucumber kimchee tasted more like a pickle and not in a good way. Overall, we were disappointed with the quality of the food. We are regular eaters of Korean cuisine and this was definitely one of the worst experiences we've had.

Very agreeable Korean food, the bibimbap was decent, I appreciated the fact that it was ACTUALLY spicy, definitely love the extra kick. I only give 3 stars though because the service wasn't exactly the best. I couldn't help but feel like the waiterwanted us to get out of there asap so he could give our table to someone else. That's probably because it was only two of us anddidn't order any barbecue.

Had a great time here. The chicken and bulgogi was really tasty. All of the sides were good too. Some I was having for the first time. I was tickled to see a drink called ?Boys Over Flowers? because it?s named after one of my favorite K-Dramas. It was agood lychee flavored drink.

I called ahead to try and make reservations but it's first come first serve. Parking in the area was a bit tricky. We went on a Monday night, President's Day, at about 9pm. It wasn't super crowded but they were busy. I appreciated that we were able to have a conversation without yelling over music or other diners. We sat at the grill table and enjoyed the steak cubes with dokebi rice.
