Cj Cafe - Brooklyn

I was hesitant to visit this restaurant late on a Friday night, but it was the only option open besides fast food. At first glance, the place seemed unappealing; everything looked quite outdated. However, I decided to try the Curry Chicken with rice and peas. Once I got home and tasted the food, I was pleasantly surprised – it was actually quite good. I would definitely say that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.

There are two things you can always count on at this restaurant: 1. The food consistently tastes great, especially at lunchtime. 2. The lines are often long, but the food is definitely worth the wait, particularly the macaroni salad.

This restaurant truly excels at delivering delicious Jamaican cuisine. I was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in. The atmosphere is somewhat dim, as most of the lighting comes from the front windows. The food is presented in an incredibly appetizing manner. They offer cashless payment, and the drinks are equally delightful. I can't wait for my next visit!

The rice was overcooked, and the oxtail was undercooked, making it quite tough to eat.
