Buka Nigerian - Brooklyn

I was eager to try traditional African cuisine and discovered this restaurant through Twitter and some online searches. The customer service was excellent; the staff member recommended some dishes since it was my first visit. I decided on the Jollof rice, tilapia with fufu and egusi sauce, and goat with fufu and okra sauce. I’m not a fan of spicy food, but the heat level here was mild and quite manageable. The food was absolutely delicious! I give it a five-star rating. If it’s your first time like mine, this place is a must-try!

The appetizer was an excellent choice! The Akara balls took me back to my childhood in Lagos, and they brought tears to my eyes with all the memories. I highly recommend this place and encourage everyone to visit!

The food was absolutely delicious! I used to dine here frequently many years ago, and my favorites included the tuwo (yam porridge), beans, suya, and goat meat stew. Honestly, everything was so flavorful! Just thinking about it makes me hungry, haha!
