Pavement Coffee House - Brookline

Wow! This is the best vegan bagel sandwich I've ever tasted. We ordered two of the Vegan Tequila Sunrise bagels. We assumed they came with Just Egg, but they don't, so be sure to request it if you want it. Even without it, the bagel was absolutely delightful. I also had a soy vanilla latte, which was equally fantastic. I highly recommend this place!

This is a fantastic spot to enjoy a coffee and a bagel. The atmosphere is wonderful, and it's filled with students all around. I really loved my experience there!

I ordered a bagel with tempeh and some additional toppings, and it was absolutely delicious! I finished it in under 10 minutes. The staff was incredibly friendly and cheerful, which is really uplifting during these Covid times, and they were prompt with my order. I'm definitely looking forward to visiting this place again.

Pavement isn’t just an excellent coffee spot; it also stands out for its commitment to sustainability, more so than any other place I know of in the area. If you bring your own reusable cup, you’ll receive a discount on your coffee, and they fill your cup to the brim, regardless of whether you ordered a large or a small (or maybe my cup just happens to be small!). The staff is incredibly friendly as well. I will definitely keep recommending this shop.

The ambiance: The atmosphere is quite cool. It was really busy when I ordered my coffee, so I didn’t get a chance to explore the space much. The pricing: I enjoyed the cinnamon fig latte; I don’t regret trying it, but I wouldn’t spend over $5 on it again. The staff were very friendly and efficient. In summary: It’s a great spot for high-quality drinks and relaxation, provided you’re lucky enough to find an empty seat. However, since I’m often on the go and occasionally indulge in higher-end coffees, it’s not my first choice. Still, I can definitely see why it appeals to local residents.
