Dok Bua Thai Kitchen - Brookline

The food was not only delicious, but the service was excellent as well. The staff went above and beyond our expectations. We arrived at 9:15 after struggling to find parking, but they were extremely gracious and still accommodated us even though the kitchen was supposed to close at 9:15. We requested takeout containers for our leftovers, and they surprised us by bringing out a lavish several course meal on a platter, including soup, two appetizers, a main dish, and rice. It was absolutely delightful. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

I would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could. They served me raw chicken and refused to offer a solution to fix it. When I called to complain, they hung up on me multiple times and pretended their phone wasn't working. All they said was, "I cannot give you a refund. Call your credit card company. I know how my food is cooked." This behavior is extremely disrespectful and offensive. I will never eat here again.

I was looking forward to having lunch with my 13-year-old daughter at this restaurant as part of our mother-daughter outing. The food was tasty and the service was fine until the moment I found a fly in my food as I was getting ready to take my leftovers to go. I showed the waitress the fly, and she mentioned that it must have landed on my plate while I was in the bathroom. She offered to remove it before packing up my food, but I politely declined. There was no apology or alternative gesture offered. She simply brought me the bill and walked away.

Dok Bua Thai Kitchen was a great find! I ordered takeout for some folks at the office this week and we all really enjoyed it. The food was hot and packed beautifully, and every dish was really tasty! I especially loved how crispy the spring rolls were.Food pictured: 1) Pad Thai Noodle with Chicken 2) Scallion Pancakes 3) Crispy Thai Spring Rolls Not pictured are the excitedexpressions on all of my coworkers’ faces when the came into the break room and smelled what was for lunch. 100% wouldrecommend!

I was excited to take my 13-year-old daughter to lunch here for a special mommy and daughter date. The food was delicious and the service was good until I discovered a fly in my meal. When I brought it to the waitress's attention, she claimed that the fly must have landed on my plate while I was in the bathroom. I was not satisfied with this response and was disappointed that no apologies or alternatives were offered. The waitress simply brought my bill and left.
