Kfc - Brookings

I ordered, was quoted 15 minutes wait, and when I checked in 40 minutes later because I was now late for work and needed a refund so I could leave, I was told my order was taken by someone else when my number was never called. They didn't offer any sort of compensation.

This KFC is also linked to the Taco Bell which makes it convenient for your picky eaters. Convenely located on hwy 101 in Brookings. Quite atmosphere. Nice employees. Don't forget those coupons overall good deal

Everything (chicken)had the taste of fish and upset everyone's stomach. Staff was decent.

The situation is bad enough, but the kitchen staff is even worse. Whenever a customer asks the cashier a question about the menu, the kitchen staff will shout over the cashier with a condescending tone, explaining things to the customer in a rude manner. While I understand that the kitchen can be stressful, it’s not okay to treat customers like that. Trying to speak to a manager about it is also futile; they rarely come out from the back, and the staff won't fetch them for you. As for the assistant manager, I've witnessed him belittle both his employees and customers on multiple occasions—he is even less helpful than the kitchen staff. But surely the food quality and wait times are what really matter, right? Unfortunately, they haven’t gotten that right either. The staff will tell you that your wait time is 10-15 minutes, but I've never received my order in less than 45 minutes. Whether there are 20 people or just 2 waiting, expect a wait of at least 30 minutes beyond what they tell you. The food quality is a rollercoaster; some days it’s decent, but most days it's practically inedible. I've reached out to KFC corporate several times about this location, but nothing has changed. Save your money and eat somewhere else—this KFC/Taco Bell is more chaotic than a dumpster fire.

Doors locked at 755 p.m. and they were out of several main items like coleslaw. Plus no utensils or sauces requested. Had to go back through the drive thru just to ask because the lobby doors were ?. They had several people working. So frustrating!
