Contribuiți la feedbackI recently had a disappointing experience with a restaurant that left me feeling frustrated. I went in for an interview and was hired on the same day. After accepting the offer letter a few hours later, I didn't hear anything for a week. The only communication I received was about PizzAcademy training. When I reached out to the recruiter, she informed me that the store manager would contact me with my login information when it was time to start training. However, I never received that information, and instead, I received a termination letter. I waited several days without any contact from the store. It's ironic that "Zero Contact" refers to the pizza delivery, not the onboarding process. Over the years, I've stopped ordering from Papa John's because their deliveries take too long and my orders were often incorrect. I hoped that applying for a position would allow me to help improve the service, but it seems they have no interest in making things better.
The food is tasty, but the service at this location has been consistently poor for the past three years. Every time I try to give them another shot for a simple carryout pizza—a large pepperoni—it takes around 90 minutes. They take forever to acknowledge you when you walk in. Meanwhile, the Pizza Hut and Domino's just a short distance away always provide much better service; in particular, the staff at Domino's is both quick and friendly. The pizza at this Papa John's still tastes good, but be prepared to spend an extra 30 minutes beyond the time they promise for it to be ready.
I ordered a personal pan pizza to go from this restaurant today, and now, several hours later, my stomach feels terrible. It's the only thing I've eaten today that I don't usually have, and considering the previous reviews, the cleanliness of this place might have caused my stomach issues. I strongly advise against eating here unless you want to risk severe gastrointestinal distress.
Former employee here. Hate to say it but this place has hit rock bottom. Used to be good when the young Mexican manager was there, but after he moved up the ladder, this place has been rapidly going down hill. Where do I even start? Firstly, I blame this all on corporate or the management up top. There used to be females working the front counter and answering the phones. Now, management up top thought it was best to outsource the phone calls to some bad English Indian call center overseas. They did that so management in the stores can concentrate on the food and not get tied up answering the phone and taking orders over the phone. Problem is, management in the store now rarely answers the phone as they feel like they're not obligated to. That's why you have been calling the store for hours and no one ever picks up. Smh. Secondly, new management is lazy and rarely cleans up around the store. There was a homeless lady that actually set up her tent behind the store next to the dumpsters and management did absolutely nothing about it. Smh. Code enforcement had to come there and tell the homeless lady that she had to move her tent. Code enforcement also told the manager that he needed to clean up outside the store else they would fine him. Smh. Inside the store now is a mess. The dishes are beyond filthy. They think soaking dishes in soapy water, then dipping it in clean water and putting it up on the shelves, is washing dishes. Smh. If you ever seen the amount of left over food that remains in the supposed clean dishes, you'd scream. Lol. There is also one employee in particular who's extremely nasty. Let's just say, him and soap and water are not good friends. He does everything with his bare hands. Wash dishes, takes out the trash and even cooks the food and sticks his filthy hands all in the cheese and everything else. Beyond filthy. He made me actually stop eating at this place. Ridiculous. I told management about him several times, but whatever. They're too busy crunching numbers and try to squeeze an extra dollar out of every nook and cranny. If you care about your health, I'd pass on this location.
Placed an order with a drink to my Airbnb after traveling all day and never received it. Called to let someone know and the manager just hung up on me. Called again and was placed on hold for another 20 minutes. Finally called once more and they let me know they cancelled my order and I’ll get my money back within 7-10 business days. They did not give me the option to get it resent, nor did they inform me about the cancellation. I asked to get it delivered back to me and she said she’ll have it out in the next 30 minutes, and once more.. never received it. Zero stars
