Pugsley Pizza - BRONX

We visited this restaurant during a pizza tour, and Sal and his wife run a fantastic place. They were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The pizza was excellent!

It might be a bit challenging to locate Pugsly Pizza, but it's definitely worth the effort. The pizza is excellent, and the decor is quite eclectic. It's absolutely worth the search!

This charming old-school restaurant, located just off Fordham Road, feels like a world away from the Bronx. They serve excellent classic pizza slices, and the laid-back outdoor dining area features a flat-screen TV. It's an ideal place to grab a pizza, enjoy some beers, and catch a ball game.

It’s the slice to beat. Best NYC pizza without a doubt. Great flavor great bread, and sauce and I swear when you look at the cheese slice you know it’s good. You need to try it you haven’t.

I havent been back here in a few years but so glad to see the amazing couple was still healthy and doing well thru covid. My friend and I always have a great time when we come. Pizza is fresh and delicious. (We got the plain cheese pizza and a buffalo chicken slice) They are also very welcoming and let us actually build one of our own pizzas (spread the sauce) then ring their huge gong haha. Def will be back soon.
