Gabrielle's Cafe - BRONX

Came here on a sunday for breakfast. I absolutely appreciate and love the Mom Pop vibe of this cozy establishment. The place is clean. The staff are warm friendly. The food was delicious. Prices are fair. My friend ordered blueberry pancakes and I ordered the spinach tomato feta omelette. It's definitely worth the trip. Wonderful experience. My new favourite place. Everything here is delicious! I love their salads, wraps and burgers. The baked goods are made in-house and are exceptional. Just a great diner.

In 2011 I was here in our sailboat docked for ten days before moving up the Hudson hurricane Irene was on her way. Today the memories flooded back in In a world that is constantly changing is City Island Diner. Good people. Good food. They will always have a piace in my heart.

I had a wonderful experience at this charming local diner. I visited for breakfast and savored some eggs and sausages paired with hash browns, along with an iced coffee. The diner is perfectly situated, making it easy to stroll around the island, do some window shopping, and soak in the island's unique atmosphere. It's a cozy little spot that exudes a welcoming 'Mom and Pop' feel. On weekdays, they offer breakfast specials for just $6.95, which is a fantastic deal. One of my favorite parts of the experience was being able to watch the chefs prepare my breakfast right in front of me on the grill visible from the seating area. If you're not in the mood for a full meal, they also have a small coffee bar. The service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly.
