Dallas Bbq (co-op City) - BRONX

I didn't expect a whole lot when eating at Dallas BBQ and that's exactly what I received. The food was okay and so was the atmosphere. I had the Petit Sirloin. I think serving it on a pita bread is a waste of a good steak since the bread absorbs all the juiciness from the steak. The Lil' Onion Loaf was good. The Mac Cheese, not so much.

I'll keep it simple. I came out with my mom and siblings for dinner. The service was poor and the food was mediocre. I was not expecting much but I was very surprised when the waiter made it clear that he was inconvenienced by us asking for an extra sharing plate. This guy was super impatient and lacked friendliness. I don't expect a fine finding experience when I go to Dallas BBQ, but I think it's surprising to have such a subpar dining staff. You don't usually go to Dallas BBQ expecting the best food. I thought the sticky wings were cool and my mom ordered the beef bbq ribs and those were also not bad. The cornbread itself was lackluster. My baby bro got the cheeseburger and ate it up quickly. We got 3 pina coladas and those were amazing. I know their drinks are their highlight. I have not been here since before the pandemic. The food is still good, love the onion loaf. Like every thing else the price has gone up. Things that were free now cost. For what they now charge $3.50) for a piece of cornbread you cans make 3 pans of it yourself. I also had my usual Virgin piña colada which was not good at all. It had a weird taste like bad pineapples or something.

I asked for a Hennycolada with mango and I received a regular Pina Colada with Mango. I asked for Cod fish and chips and I received Cod fish and Tortilla..smh The waiter tried to tell me it doesn't come with chips. But I said the menu said Cod fish and chips. At that point I was annoyed and could not be bothered.

The mega drinks were good, and the food wasn't too hot. The sticky wing was so good that we ordered three to go. The waiter was very nice. Some of the drinks weren't good, so they changed them. The restaurant was very busy and it's in a nice location with shopping and near hotels and plenty of parking. We were celebrating a birthday, and they song happy birthday. They give you little donuts, and they melt in your mouth. If you haven't been their you should take a visit, and you won't be disappointed. They have four location. And try out the different chicken wings. The sticky and henney wing are the best sealer. Don't forget to kick your finger. Lol
