Va Bene - Bromsgrove

Birthday treat for my daughter , thought I would go local rather go in to busy Birmingham. I booked for 5 of us one being my 3 year old granddaughter, so it was all ladies. It was busy buzzing but plenty tables, we were seated right at the back of the restaurant by the toilets and a back door, literally away from from the rest of the others dinners. My daughter did ask if there was another table but told no. We waited a while and then I caught the attention of one of the staff, as I asked for the drinks menu and food menu, which she apologies for our wait. Shortly after the front of house came down and said oh is there only you, we said yes he replied i think i put you on the wrong table. REALLY!. You may not think this is relevant but when you are 4 women of colour, I felt like we had been segregated. And it looked like we had. Hence my disappointment. Such a shame Food was ok.
