I typically order fresh juices at this restaurant and they have always been delicious. However, on my recent visit, I did not receive a proper response and there was no QR code available. This seems unfair. The management should take appropriate steps to maintain a good reputation.

I absolutely adore the Dosa and Sambhar made in Tamil Nadu. The unique flavor and taste cannot be replicated by neighboring states. Whenever I am in the rural areas of TN, I make sure to indulge in Dosa, idli, and their local chutney and Sambhar. During my recent visit, I tried an Onion Dosa at this hotel, and it seemed like they had an endless supply of onions....it was a bit overwhelming for a Dosa. The waiter continuously served the delicious Sambhar with such care and love, I couldn't help but keep asking for more. The attention to detail and hospitality was outstanding. To top it off, enjoying a nice cup of tea in the TN patented steel tumbler was the cherry on top. A truly satisfying experience!

During our stay at the Kohinoor Hotel on Brough Road, we were recommended Gowrishankar for dinner. Despite being disappointed by the ambiance when we arrived, we decided to give it a chance and ordered uttapams for all four of us. To our surprise, they were incredibly tasty and served hot with three different types of chutneys and sambar, with the tomato onion chutney standing out as particularly delicious. We ended up ordering more uttapams and also tried the Rawa dosas, both of which had an authentic South Indian taste that exceeded our expectations. The service was impressively fast and all the dishes were served on banana leaves. The prices were very reasonable, although we would suggest that the cleanliness of the restaurant could be improved.

Very good and nice choice to start with the family in the weekend. All the children and adults will definitely have a good experience. Every items will be very delicious and nutritious, so everyone can make a visit to the place and enjoy the weekend happily.

Gowrishankar is one of those Veggie fast food places you visit because there are not too many options and you are starving. Rushed looking waiters jostle you into the first empty seat and bark out the specials. Once they have your order, they literally serve it at the speed of light. Take that McDonalds! The vegetarian meals include rice, sambar, rasam, papad, curd, pickle and a whole lot of south Indian veggie varieties of varying degrees of yumminess. It is plain, simple and decent fare. They make decent chapathis as well and serve it with veg kurma and onion salad. If you don't have a lot of options and are not too particular about the ambience or a bit of jostling, this is not a bad place to grab a bite.
