Contribuiți la feedbackWe moved to Brockville in 2019 and the Cutting Edge was a regular stop for us, but the visits went away when the pandemic and sluices were feeding over the region. After almost a year of absence, we found a completely changed butcher shop. They no longer wear pork they have used to make a good choice including large bacon. This is only poultry bacon and no further cuts for the BBQ. The selection of beef has been restricted and the ground crack is only packed in 1lbs packages with butcher paper. Steak was up to 3 options and the 4 steaks I bought were a bit hard. The star was the chicken air cooled, whole bones in, skin intact breast very good. Think I have to go to the other butcher shop that BBQ season is on us.
Cecil remembers what you like and always has suggestions about specializations and good food choices. they pack for me in small portions, so all my meals are perfect for one. everything seems fresh and clean and personal service is important to me.
This butcher has been in operation for over 30 years and offers the best cut of meat, poultry, fish and seafood. During my last visit I found out that they were hanging their own flesh and it was the first time I tried her French Canadian... Lamb, which was far superior to the New Zealand lamb. If you are looking for the best of the best, this is the place to go... Rita H
The owner Cecil has a great staff and his cuts of meat etc. will melt in the mouth, offering fresh bbque beef ribs, half chickens every Friday at 4 p.m.
My husband and I had been regulars to the cutting edge meat shop for some time now. We love the owner who is kind and patient . My husband is soooo picky when it comes to his steaks, the cut, the kind. So we take...our time and carefully pick so we can load up the deep freze for summer grilling. At one time there were grat deals on a selection of packages.
