I read the reviews on the Southern fried Chicken and decided that's what I was going to try and I have to say without a doubt this is the best boneless Southern fried Chicken I'vehad in Massachusetts. The juiciness of the chicken breast crunchiness of the batter and the phenomenal taste of the gravy madeit well worthwhile to try it. ???????? With the chicken we had gotten two sides I tried the the red rice and the macaroni andcheese both were phenomenal both were very well portioned and baked to perfection. We also have a review on their Italian subwhich is that it was spot on mortadella salami provolone and capicola all fresh all delicious all portioned so that no one tastedominated the sub ???????? . Overall we gave it an star rating.
I arrived at 8:13 PM and was told I'd have to wait a few minutes, which was expected. I waited inside and around 8:30, I heard her mention a steak tip sub to the man working on the subs. Finally, around 8:40, I received my order, which included a complimentary side of fries. I should have sensed something was off at that point. At 8:48, I called to let them know that my steak tip sub was made with a wheat wrap instead of white, and my chicken wrap was on white bread. The entire order was incorrect, and there was no BBQ sauce. During this call, the cashier kept calling me "sweetie" and, despite my polite requests to have at least the sub remade, she refused. Things escalated when I asked what she intended to do to make this right—give me a credit or something else? She claimed she couldn’t remember half of our previous conversation and suggested I had completely misordered. I wouldn’t have specified not to toast a wrap if that were the case. Her attitude was quite unpleasant, and we ended up with an entire order that was wrong. Based on other reviews, it seems this isn’t an isolated issue. The bad customer service wasn’t worth it. I would have been willing to wait until closing time to have them quickly fix the chicken wrap with the wheat wrap I ordered, but they wouldn’t accommodate that. Interestingly, the cashier insisted that the free fries I received had nothing to do with my nearly 50-minute wait—far longer than the promised 20-30 minutes. I’m curious to see what their definition of a credit is. They need to do better for their customers. It felt like the cashier was more focused on arguing and being defensive than on finding a solution to the problem.
Also, they don’t cater to working folks—there are no lunch specials. I ended up paying $13 for a sandwich that I couldn't even pick up to take a bite of, and I live just 7 minutes away. Their mistake cost me extra time, and it wasted their resources too, as the food ended up in the trash! It's just disappointing all around.
This restaurant is impeccably maintained and offers exceptional food. Recently, we've started enjoying their Southern fried chicken, which has been outstanding. We’ve gone back several times just to taste it again. We're thrilled to give a 5-point rating to a place like this, where the staff is friendly, the food is amazing, and the presentation consistently exceeds expectations.
