Brockton Public Library

Very clean and historical. the staff is very friendly and helpful.

My 7 year old daughter and I love getting a hot chocolate and spending an hour or two there reading and hanging out. The historically old building has a great feel to it and the help is more than knowledgeable and helpful. Allot of people don't know that they also offer DVDS and game rentals too.

Due to covid-19, the library is closed to in person visit. However, with your membership information you can order books and services online for curbside pickup. I really like that I'm able to download ebooks with a click of a button without stepping a foot outside my door. Online accessibility is not only limited to books, but movies and more.

I was just denied to use the restroom at the library because it is closing time(4h50pm) when I spent 3 hours there studying nonstop for my midterm!!! I miss the library pre covid. Some of the new staff here now is cold and heartless!!!!!

I am consistently amazed by the Brockton Public Library, much like a child filled with wonder. I appreciate the historical significance of the building and its unique charm. It feels as if I’m a special guest, welcomed to utilize the resources within this magnificent, historic structure.
