The Broadford Hotel Restaurant

Went to the BROADFORD Hotel for dinner with family and the food was great. They also support a local brewery called Shearasun. Beers on tap and takeaway. Great pub, great staff, great beer.

This pub has a good feel to it, they really try hard to make it an entertaining venue for people to visit and enjoy. However over the past few years with changes in chefs the food quality and taste has gone downhill a bit. It used to be our top choice for dinner but we've had numerous average meals in recent times. The value for money is quite good, menu is varied however I think improvement in the kitchen department would bring this pub back to its former glory. As would improvement/renovation to the 'beer garden' area. There is plenty of potential for this to be a iconic great pub again.

Upon arrival the lady was helping another customer. The place has a nice ambience and appears to have been here a while. It's a family restaurant and the noise level was higher than I liked. Signage said wait to be seated. They had specials on the chalkboard. Was interested in a large rump steak and prawns but didn't have the steak.I ordered the carbonara and a salad. You pay up front. They didn't ask about salad dressing and it was covered in it. The meal didn't come with bread, I told the waitress I needed to order bread since no one was working counter. The bread never arrived.The carbonara came with a tiny bowl of parmesan cheese. The spaghetti was cooked perfect and the carbonara had a good flavor.

Bring close by this is one of our locals and the food is always good, reasonably priced & service is fast, bookings are recommended as it can get quite busy.

The best value meal tradies lunch, public bar, fabulous staff, quick service, huge parma and chips or fish and chips for 10.00 can't go past it
