Yunnan Rice Noodle House

I really enjoy dining here. The texture of the noodles and the tomato soup are wonderful.

The noodles were delicious and incredibly affordable! The rice noodles are served in unlimited portions, and the side dishes are quite charming!

I ordered the Tomato Rice Noodle Soup with Beef Slices and Enoki Mushrooms for $14, and I was disappointed to find only two thin slices of beef in such a large bowl of noodles—enough to feed two people! The noodles were plentiful, but the toppings were quite scarce. The tomato soup itself was watery and lacked flavor. If I had to give one positive note, it was that the clay pot kept the noodles piping hot, especially since the air conditioning was weak. Next, I tried the Rice Noodle Soup with Spicy Sauce and added beef. This dish came with a platter of 10 sides, but they were strange, cheap, and not authentic at all. The minced pork didn’t resemble minced pork; it seemed likely to be from a can. The shrimp was small and not fresh, and I couldn’t understand why they paired the rice noodles with lap cheong. While the platter included some beef, we ordered extra but were still only given a total of four thin slices. Furthermore, the soup base wasn’t spicy at all, which was a significant deviation from a traditional Yunnan rice noodle broth. Lastly, I tried the Deep Fried Tofu with Garlic Sauce, but it was stone-hard! I couldn’t even force myself to take a second bite. The sauce was strangely tangy, and the tofu had been over-fried, making the skin rough and lacking any garlic flavor. Overall, I would not recommend returning.

Delicious food and late-night hours make for a fantastic dining experience. The hot, slurpy noodles come with a complimentary selection of toppings. I particularly enjoyed the mixed mushroom soup with fish balls and pork. The service was quick, making it a great spot whether you're dining solo or with a group.

We can't resist coming back for more noodles! My family has quickly fallen in love with this place. First off, their cucumber appetizer is my absolute favorite. The sweet and tangy sauce is so addictive! The spicy beef is also a must-try, thinly sliced and drenched in their special pepper oil (we often order this to-go). It's dine-in only, but the best part? You get free noodle refills until you're satisfied. Amazing, right? Choose the tomato or curry base — you won't regret it. The toppings are served separately in small dishes on a tray, and the soup is brought out in a piping hot witch pot. It's the cutest presentation! Then you just add all the toppings and noodles, and VOILA! The result is slurping, sniffles, and foggy glasses... perfect for a quick meal on a chilly night or any day. We’re always up for some noodles!
