Excellent food! Calamari, artichokes, great. Pasta al dente. We look forward to returning soon.

A no frills Lower East Side restaurant! Good food, good wine and lovely atmosphere. The only issue is that their truffle heavy dishes waft through the main dining room and that can be overwhelming to those who don't like or don't prefer truffle flavored dishes. The pasta is simple, delicious and just plain perfect. I would absolutely recommend even for a late saturday night meal.

This place is a treasure with amazing food that is homemade, and comfy, sweet and classy ambiance. I only took 1 star off for service because the service was slow with the staff seeming overwhelmed. But overall this is a must go. Recommend mushroom pasta (OMG) and the carrots under veggie sides amazing. I get the same things every time the pasta is RICH and truffle and creamy with no dairy (except butter) and the pasta itself is homemade with tremendous bite. The carrots are cold and simply par cooked/pickled with parsley but they are utterly addictive.

We came to Tre on a recommendation from my uncle who frequents NYC and it did not disappoint!! The ambiance is so nice, food was great and the service was amazing! Gino, the owner, took great care of us!!
