Tradisyon - Broad Channel

Amazing food! Great atmosphere. Honestly one of the best Filipino fast casual spots there is in NYC! Highly recommend the kaldereta! They don’t always have it but it is absolutely SUPER worth it! If you can make it in time for breakfast, the longganisa is absolutely fantastic. And the adobong pusit is SO GOOD. Also, Anton, the chef/owner is a highly skilled chef who creates an experience that brings you back to the memories you have of your family’s food. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Tradisyon after a long day of travel from WA. The customer service was excellent, especially for a casual dining facility, and the food, which were very reasonably priced, tasted great. We will definitely return the next time we are here in NY.

Authentic Filipino comfort food! Good serving and tastes so much like home.

I was visiting New York and looking for authentic Filipino food. Found tradisyon, hidden gem in nyc! I wish I ordered less because the servings are so big! Feels like two orders are good for 6 people! Delicious!!!!

My husband and I are from Connecticut. While we were in NY on May 30, 2024, we were excited to try out Tradisyon Restaurant, a Filipino restaurant in town, but our experience was unfortunately disappointing before we even set foot inside. My husband and I arrived at the restaurant promptly at 12:00 PM, their advertised opening time. However, we were greeted by a female staff member who informed us rather curtly that we have to wait until 12:30pm. We were told, rather dismissively, that they had taken a catering order, which was causing the delay. The rudeness of the staff member left a bad taste in our mouths before we even got a chance to try the food. While we understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, the lack of professionalism and courtesy was disappointing. There was no apology for the inconvenience, no offer of a seat to wait, and no attempt to make the situation right. Given this initial interaction, we decided to take our business elsewhere. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, Tradisyon did not make a good one. We hope they address these issues because good food deserves to be complemented by good service.
