Tavern 157 - Broad Channel

Had to review it as soon as I woke up, I may have found my favorite place in flushing! The place is cozy, decor is tasteful and interesting (a lot deals with wilderness decorations) and the staff is incredible!!!!! Tavern 157 tries to be high-end restaurant, which seems a bit out of place given it's location. The menu is small but offers a decent variety of cocktails, appetizers, and entrees, which are all unique and prepared well. The largest selection is their wine. While the food tastes good, it doesn't warrant the high price tag. Perhaps what you also pay for is the ambiance and decor. I enjoy trying new things. I went for a Peach Bubbles cocktail and some seafood soup. Very friendly wait staff. Worth the stop to me.

Nice atmosphere. Good service. The food is ok but terribly overpriced. I would visit again for a drink but not to dine. I can definitely get food just as good or better with bigger portions for far less at another restaurant in the area.

Food was great and their service is phenomenal. The lava cake was excellent.
