Soul food from home. The place is warm, but that means the food hot! As a vegetarian, I am grateful for all the options and CLEAR labels or indications from folks here. Writing a review so I can remember where this gem is and to remember my experience.

The customer service was the worst .The lady at the register, disrespectfully spoke out to me and grilled me as I got food. Appetite lost instantly. I told her about it and she ignored me. It’s truly unfortunate how good food can be ruined by a TERRIBLE ATTITUDE.My family will no longer be giving soldier's their black dollars and I no longer will recommend them.

The place is clean, the food taste ok for my first visit the cashier was very helpful and friendly.

Located on Rutland Road between Utica Avenue and East 51st St in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn, NY, Soldier's is a small Jamaican restaurant that sells roti, various soups (vegetable, chicken, etc), bread and pastry. It's in the vicinity of Walgreens, T-Mobile, Metro By T-Mobile and accessible by the B46 local bus.
