Riverdale Indian Grill - Broad Channel

I really love this place. My go to for Indian food. The only reason I didnt give it the full 5 stars is because theyve changed their chutney and it does not do the food justice. Otherwise, its always on point. My go to is the chicken special. Slightly spicy. Perfect texture. And pairs beautifully with the tasty basmati rice.

Everything was fantastic! I had the 33. Chicken Tikka Masala and the 91. Chili Garlic Naan, perfect seasoning and good portions. The 48. Rogan Josh dish was also really good and flavorful. Will be ordering again, thanks!

Im not sure if it was a bad night but the food my family and I received was not tasty at all. My 105. Shrimp Biryani was very salted and very spicy with no warning of it being that hot. The curry wasnt enjoyable either. I wouldnt necessarily recommend this place to anyone right now. I was not able to happily finish my meal. Im really disappointed that I spent so much money on something I could not enjoy eating.

Just got my first order from this restaurant and Im extremely satisfied! 33. Chicken Tikka Masala was made with white meat, perfectly seasoned and delicious sauce. Not too greasy. The 11. Vegetable Samosa was hot and crunchy on the outside and perfectly cooked and seasoned on the inside. The rice was delicious and fragrant with cardamom. And the garlic 90. Choices of Naan was nice and hot too. I will order from them again. Much better than some other options in Riverdale!

Food was amazing! I had the 34. Chicken Makhani (aka butter chicken) and the garlic naan 90. Choices of Naan. I have tried butter chicken at a few other spots in the Bronx and they were on the sweeter side which I didnt like, but here at the Riverdale Indian Grill, the Butter Chicken was just right! It was so good and was not sweet at all, but very flavorful!! The garlic Naan was really good as well, there were actual pieces of garlic on the naan which I appreciated. It was a huge piece too! Great portion! It was so good!! I will be ordering from here again!
