As a gluten-free person though not celiac), dining at Chinese restaurants can be dicey, though the server seemed aware of gluten and double-checked when he wasn't sure about something. The server advised that a picked veggie appetizer, sauteed greens, and salted egg corn dish was ok for me and discouraged me from a fish and pork ribs dish that the rest of my table ordered. What I had was very good and the rest of the table was raving about the other dishes that I missed out on. Placed an order for a grapefruit juice drink that was on the menu and was not given it nor was I charged for it), so docking a star on service for that. A bit pricey $200 for a table of 4) but very good food and highly recommended, though I would not feel comfortable recommending this to celiacs though.
The best Sichuan food I have had in US so far. I am from the Bay Area and this beats all the Sichuan restaurants there. And even my wife, who is 四川人,said this is the best she had in US. Service is also great. Highly recommend
This was my first time getting szechuan food and I consider myself a pretty adventurous American white guy. I ordered the chicken dish under the street food section and he came back like a minute later confirming what that actually was saying it was (chicken heart, intestine (I think), and chicken meat). I personally have no problem with that and actually thought it was quite good. It's also served cold in I kid you not, a tub of chili oil (absolute deliciousness)... I definitely was just dumping some of the other food in the leftover chili oil.
Food is nice. There is always a long line, so be prepared.
非常好. One of my top recommendations for Chinese food in Manhattan .
