Madman Espresso - Broad Channel

First and foremost, the quality of the coffee at Madman Espresso was outstanding. As a coffee enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for a great cup, and this place certainly delivered. The rich and flavorful brews were incredibly satisfying, making me crave more with every sip. One of the highlights of my visit was the warm and inviting atmosphere created by the barista. Even as an out-of-towner, I felt like a regular. The barista’s friendly demeanor and genuine desire to serve me a fantastic cup of coffee made my visit all the more enjoyable. What struck me most about Madman Espresso was how it encapsulated the essence of New York City. The stylish yet understated decor, combined with the lively energy of the shop, made me feel like I was truly immersed in the city's coffee culture. It felt as though I had stepped into a scene from a classic New York film, and I couldn't help but appreciate the authenticity of the place. The coffee here is exceptional, and the atmosphere is perfect for families. It feels just like a neighborhood café. The owners genuinely care about their customers, and it shows in the way they treat everyone. Whenever I visit NYC, this is my go-to spot for coffee.

Excellent coffee! The cappuccino was served at the ideal temperature, unlike many places that serve it too hot. My only suggestion would be to use porcelain cups for dine-in customers.

Good strong but smooth flat white. A bit hot on an August morning because the AC was not on at 11 am.

Cool location with a nice aesthetic. The cold brew is smooth and delicious. Iced matcha latte is pretty good too. Service is friendly and quick. Interior is clean but pretty compact. Not too much space to stand or sit if it gets busy. Would definitely recommend stopping by for a pick me up drink on the way to work in the morning!
