Food is wildly over priced for what you get, even for NY City. Portions are small for Greek cuisine. It's not the worst quality though. Everyone that works there is super nice.

The food, friendliness and fun to be had at this taverna are not to be missed and if I lived in the city, I’d be eating here every week. To say that the atmosphere at Loukoumi is warm and welcoming would be a vast understatement. I love their food. My husband and I love to go to this restaurant-warm ambience and delicious food. Friendly servers. Some of the things we’ve tried are calamari, stuffed salmon, grilled salmon, calf liver. Everything tastes amazing! Highly recommend this place.
