John Brown Bbq - Broad Channel

One of my favorite BBQ restaurants in NYC. Fantastic Ribs Brisket. Sides were phenomenal. Collard Greens cornbread really stand out. Great vibe and friendly service.

Food is fantastic only complaint would be that food gets cold quick because the place is not heated sufficiently.

The food was awesome. I had the ribs, brisket, collard greens and corn bread. Everything was delicious but I need to give an extra emphasis to the cook for the corn bread. Oh my lord. There's corn in the corn bread and it's delicious . I also had the wheat beer . They only have 2 beers both on tap: Boulevard wheat and lagunitas ipa.

Do NOT order the brisket. It is really dry and doesn't have a lot of flavor. Mac and cheese was okay, Ribs were okay. Food came out really quick tho!

Pastrami cut 1/4 inch thick of pure tenderness, warmth and taste! MAC and cheese hearty. Not over salted or over buttered. And the Ginger Ale not artificially flavored. Made from real Ale. WOW! Atmosphere younger and progressive. But if you want to bring an older family member there's a mature woman serving too And my rings fit the next day too! Get there however you can. Maverick
