Izzy's Brooklyn Smokehouse

I saw this place on a TV show in Israel and said to myself I must go. It took me 1 hour from Manhattan (subway and some walking) and unfortunately it wasn't worth it. I had the briskit sandwich. The meat was dry and bland with a lot of ketchop on it. The fries was a McDonalds fries. Huge disappointment.

Fantastic 1/2 lb of brisket — tender, spicy, and great texture. I tried my friend’s burnt ends, and they were also delicious. Edgar at the front welcomed us warmly. Highly recommend running here!

Food was really good actually. We got the tacos, burnt ends, and nachos. The sides for the burnt ends were great. (Chili and house pickles) Also wasn't a long wait at all. All around great experience.

Solid food every time I come here and very fair portions. Everything is flavored perfectly. It's not a sit down restaurant vibe but the food more than makes up for it and honestly I enjoy the casual vibe. It's a small place but they have the next door restaurant just for seating ao definitely check that out

Overpriced and underseasoned. This restaurant was highly recommended. We spent almost $100 on a slab of ribs and brisket. The brisket was very dry and had very little seasoning. The portion was also extremely small for the price. The ribs were 70% bone and barely had any meat. The “cream” slaw almost seemed as if it had just come out of a bag. I will never visit this place again.
