Il Poeta - Broad Channel

Friends and I enjoyed a satisfying and relaxing dinner with exceptional service. we were all pleased with our pasta dishes and refreshing italian beer. the server was very polite and knowledgeable about the menu.

We love everything about Il Poeta. The service is impeccable, food wonderful. Location co convenient. The menu is impressive but you really don't have to open it because the daily specials are plentiful and mouth watering. The place was lively but not noisy, even on a week night. Going back next week!

What a fantastic and authentic Italian restaurant. Chef Mario and his team are attentive to handling every detail. As an Italian living abroad, this is probably the best meal I have ever had in an Italian restaurant outside of Italy—well done Mario. Keep up the amazing job.

What a great community hangout. The seafood pasta was exquisite and the red wine was also very good.

I recently dined at Il Poeta restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The wine selection was impressive, especially the Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The crabcake was decent, and the main dish, the orata, was very good. As for dessert, while the tiramisu wasn't the best I've had, it was enjoyable, as was the cappuccino. Seating in the middle of the restaurant is a bit tight, with staff occasionally bumping into chairs, but they also offer outdoor seating, which is more spacious and comfortable. The wait staff were very attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. For large parties, I highly recommend making a reservation to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Il Poeta to anyone looking for great food and excellent service.
