Barnea Bistro - Broad Channel

I had two appetizers from here and thought they were pretty good. I would go again sometime if I was in the mood for a fancy place.

Yum. Delicious food. beautiful presentation. Might be the best kosher restaurant in nyc. Just returned. No change to the review. Excellent.

Great food. Great bar. Great ambiance. This was not my first visit to Barnea, but then more i go, the more and more impressed I am. The food is prepared so appetizingly, which just enhances to taste and flavor of every dish. The wait staff are from the most professional I’ve ever encountered, literally waiting on you as if you’re the only guest at the restaurant. I love Barnea and can’t wait to visit there again!

The food is great, but the service is horrible, I've been there many times until now when I decided that this place is way too expensive to get such horrible service! I made reservations and they made me wait 35 minutes by the door to get seated while people who arrived after me got seated before me, then after waiting 35 minutes, I finally got seated, I waited 15 minutes for a waiter to come to our table, and when I asked to speak to a manager, I am still waiting for that! Came Thanksgiving night for dinner with our family. Food and service was impeccable as usual. Barnea did not disappoint!
