Bareburger Astoria (31st Ave)

Alexandra was super sweets. Checked on my just enough times. Very present staff over all. I ordered a latte a salad. The salad was very generous. I definitely recommend it.

The food was very delicious and we had a really friendly and nice server.

This place used to be good. Just tried them again after a 2 year break. When they first arrived in town, I loved them. Food was always quality. Fast forward to two years ago, I received the worst prepared food I had ever gotten from them. Burger was overcooked, arrived cold. Onion rings falling apart. I decided, that day, to not order from them again. However, after further two years, I decided to give them another chance. Boy, was that a mistake. Ordered a chicken sandwich, my partner ordered a black-bean burger, we were to share a side of onion rings. Chicken sandwich was crispy charred, charred breading covered the bottom of to-go box. Black bean burger arrived cold. I live 2 blocks away. Onion rings were soggy. Probably won't try again 2 years from now, if its still there. Overall 1/100.

The food was amazing and even though there was only one waiter, she was very attentive to all the tables and provided amazing, friendly service.

I have never seen a burger patty this thin. Didn’t even think it was possible. It’s like a sheet of paper. The onion slices are thicker than the patty. I honestly couldn’t taste the meat. I have been a fan of BB for years but haven’t been in a few months. They are really slipping. Unacceptable
