Balthazar - Broad Channel

Visited on the recommendation of a colleague. When you enter the store, you can smell the delicious smell of bread. I bought a baguette of apple galette and blueberry jam. Both go well with black tea, which made for a wonderful tea time during the holidays!

Buzzing. Fantastic. Need to come back for food, this was a fleeting visit to the bar. Lunch. Salad nicoise with tuna slices (pan fried rare), anchovies and delicious ingredients. This was without doubt one of the tastiest nicoise salads I have experienced. If I was being demanding, I'd have liked some parmesan shavings on it too, but oh my word, this was good. Followed up with Tarte Tatin (with apple) and ice cream, and creme anglaise, and later an espresso. Service was exquisite and friendly. I'll be back for sure. This place rocks.
