Akrotiri Seafood Taverna

Absolutely fantastic fresh food! Love the physical setup of the restaurant, too, very relaxing. Seafood is a must here, grilled calamari, grilled swordfish, hand cut fries and many GF options. Only downside was a limited wine selection. The place would do well to have some sophisticated bottles available to pair with this great food. Orange cake for dessert was sublime.

Truly one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in all of NYC. The freshest fish, prepared perfectly. Great service as well. If you want fresh fish, this is just the best.

Mediterranean flare in a nice setting, the nights I visited they had Greek live music which made a nice diner even nicer. They have a good selection of seafood and starter salads and dips. For those who are not fond of seafood the steak, chops and organic chicken are amazing. The bar has a nice atmosphere and and a good selection of Greek wines and cocktails. Attentive service make for a good experience

I’m actually allergic to seafood but my friends wanted to come here lol. I was apprehensive because most seafood restaurants only focus on their seafood, and their non seafood options would be bland or bad. Luckily Akrotiri exceeded my expectations. Their lamb chop was really juicy, and their fries were good. I also like the interiors, very nice looking. Server was pleasant as well.
