Prince's Traditional Fish And Chips

The best fish and chips in Bristol! The staff is always friendly, and the fish is fried fresh to order.

The chips were cold and undercooked, and the portion of fish was very small. I will be returning to Causeway instead.

Update January 2024: The fish has consistently been delicious, however the chips were disappointing yesterday. They were refried, soggy, and burnt. The quality of the chips has been declining for some time now, but yesterday was particularly bad. We will not be returning for a while. Many years ago: This place used to have the best Fish and Chips in Bristol, without a doubt. I have been coming here for many years.

Good portion sizes and tasty fresh food. Sometimes a bit of a wait when ordering in person but not too bad.

Claims that they have gluten free options available online but when asked they don't do this anymore! Completely misleading information that is very harmful to coeliacs looking for a good option for takeaway food. Severely disappointed in this as you should never claim to have gluten free options when no longer available. Glad I stopped my coeliac family member before they got ill.
