Mama's Deli - Bristol, City of

Unfortunately, despite our order being accepted through Just Eat, we received a phone call from the restaurant informing us that they had run out of brown stewed chicken and could only fulfill one order. They offered fried chicken as a substitute since they were also out of Jerk Chicken, but we only agreed because there were no other options. I hope they update their online menu to prevent this from happening in the future. On the positive side, the portions were generous, the food was served warm, and it tasted fantastic. We will definitely be returning, and hopefully next time they will have our complete order. This is the only reason I am not giving them a perfect rating of 5/5 this time.

I finally decided to try out Mama's Deli after walking past it most weekends. I got some wraps to go and feed the workers building walls at my house. While it wasn't your typical fast food takeout, the wait was definitely worth it. The lamb wrap was a hit with my lamb-loving household, and the chicken wraps were equally delicious. The portions were hearty and value for money. The samosas had a nice kick to them, which may be too spicy for some, but they were a hit with everyone else. I will definitely be returning and looking forward to trying out their vegetarian options for a lazy brunch with the girls.

Cup of coffee £1 amazing! that's how you guarantee repeat custom. We had 2 coffees, a flapjack and toasted cheese tomato sandwich, £4.10

The wraps and sandwiches at this restaurant in Bristol are the most delicious we've ever tasted. The flavors are outstanding and the prices are great value for money. Look out, Subway!

After a local walk a group of of around 10 of us visited Mama's deli for a cup of tea. The staff were very friendly although they did seem a little overwhelmed by so many of us arriving at once! The tea was served in nice pots and mugs (under a £1 for a pot of tea for one, which included a plate of biscuits too), they serve nice coffees to although as yet they do not serve decaffeinated coffee. I ordered a wrap which I had around a 10 minute wait for. It was worth it though, gorgeous! Will visit here again! Prices are good and the whole place looks clean and nicely decorated!
