Grounded - Bristol, City of

Can't believe how much Grounded Redfield has turned itself around. As per some reviews, it had fallen way below par but we took a risk last night and the food prepared by the smiley, humble Kristophe (apologies if spelt incorrectly) was exceptional. I ordered a simple double cheeseburger and was presented with a masterpiece. I saw a couple with pizzas and they too looked so tasty. A chef who loves his work and a magnificent menu, wonderful. Its back on the list of best eateries on Church Road

Bring back the tapas menu! There are less vege/vegan options on the new menu?

Took my Daughters here l few weeks ago (they like the lasagne). Ordered the food, the lady took my money and then told me the chef is on a break, will be about 20mins wait , we were happy to wait. 15minutes later she approaches our table to tell me they had no lasagne, by this point my girls had been waiting 30 minutes. We chose something else as they were hungry. The whole experience was awful. The Lady was completely unapologetic and dismissive. We will get our lasagne elsewhere from now on...

I haven't been visiting this restaurant for a long time, but the food is terrible, they don't even cut pizza

You won't find a better club sandwich this side of Bristol.
