I ordered a cappuccino, which is not supposed to be boiling hot as it can ruin the coffee. The drink was so hot that I had to wait 4-7 minutes before it was drinkable. I would recommend avoiding this place and rather opt for instant coffee from a supermarket, where you can control the temperature yourself. Paying 2.80 for a poorly made coffee is not worth it. Avoid this place at all costs.
Went to get a coffee at 14.30 yesterday. Restaurant busy no one at the till. The only employee was behind hiding away behind wooden wall. When we asked if we could order she replied she is on a break to come back in 10 minutes and that she had put a sign on front door which was not the case! What an attitude if she was on a break the either out a sign or employ 2 persons there were at least 20-25 people seating.
Friendly and good service, great coffee and well located in the city centre. Have been here a few times and it never disappoints.
Caffè Nero coffee is by far the best from the big coffee chains IMHO. And this branch was open at 8.30 on a Sunday morning when I was looking for breakfast. I had the porridge, which was under £2 importantly, didn’t have sugar added, unlike some of the other places which don’t give you the choice in some cases use powdered milk water! If you want milky porridge the ability to add your own sugar /or other toppings if you want them, then this is recommended.
Good coffee and comfortable unrushed surroundings. Friendly service. Plenty of room to sit and relax. It looks like it has been refubished recently.
