Big Rich's Fish And Chips

I visited Big Rich's for lunch on a Wednesday, excited to try a snack after reading some positive reviews. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the car park gates were closed, and there was a notice on the door stating that the restaurant is only open on Fridays and weekends. This was quite disappointing, as I had been looking forward to dining there. I ended up going to the Ring O Bells instead, but that experience was also disappointing. I can't accurately rate Big Rich's based on this visit, though I might consider giving it another chance in the future. I had to give it 1 star to submit my review on Trip Advisor, but honestly, 0 stars would have been more fitting in this situation.

We wholeheartedly recommend Big Rich's and give it our highest rating without hesitation. We've dined there several times and have consistently found the restaurant to be very clean. The staff is always friendly, polite, and accommodating. The food is reliably fresh, delicious, and offers excellent value for money.

The restaurant is spacious, bright, and inviting. The staff are friendly and attentive, especially a particularly charming young man who manages the front of house. The local community shows strong support for Big Rich's, which is a testament to its exceptional quality. Visitors to the area will find a variety of nearby activities, as Compton Martin is conveniently situated on the main A268 road connecting Bath and Weston Super Mare.

As a result, I can't really recommend Big Ricos, but maybe I would consider giving them another try in the future. To get TripAdvisor to accept my review, I had to give them one star, but honestly, under the circumstances, zero stars would be more accurate.
