The Japanese tempura shrimp was cooked perfectly, and we chose fresh broccoli and Japanese rice as our sides. For dessert, we indulged in a 5-layer chocolate cake and berry cake, both of which were incredibly tasty.
We went to this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday night at 6pm. We called ahead because there were 8 adults in our group. When we arrived, we were seated right away in a cozy entrance. The restaurant was decorated with winter wreaths and red ribbon, which made us feel at home. We ordered mixed drinks, wine, soft drinks, and water. For appetizers, we ordered Gyoza (6 in an order) and scallops wrapped in bacon (5 in an order), which arrived hot at the table after 20 minutes. Our main entrees arrived about 40 minutes later, and all but one order was correct. The kitchen only mixed up the side order, but our waiter corrected it immediately. Our waiter was fun, made recommendations, answered our questions, and was knowledgeable about the menu. We also ordered desserts to go, and the gluten-free cake was delicious! If you're in town, there are plenty of options to choose from at this restaurant!
The food at this restaurant was excellent. We dined here a few times during the week of the 4th of July. The appetizers we ordered included seafood stuffed mushrooms (highly recommended), loaded nachos (pretty good), teriyaki steak strips (very good), and mozzarella sticks (okay). Our main dishes included chicken Parmesan (very good with a nice light sauce), lobster Alfredo fettuccine (very good), and steak bomb sandwich (very good).
This is just a review of the pub/lounge above the restaurant and on drinks (mostly) only. It was somewhat busy but we found seats, each got our drinks and waitress was sweet. It def had the vibe of a country pub bar and had karaoke going last night. One person did order the fried rice because he was still hungry and raved on how good it was.
Popped by here for dinner after a long drive. Drinks were strong and cheap- just how we like them. Skip the calamari and order the nachos. My husband had a rib eye and said it was pretty good. I had a bulgogi wrap and thought it was great. A little light on the meat, but it was fine. The french fries were tasty and our maple bourbon pecan pie was delish. For an impromptu dinner out, this place was great.
